Painting peace,
one sky at a time.

Jane Kerrigan’s art is distinctly and proudly Australian.

In an age of noise and speed, and anxiety, Jane’s paintings are an invitation to return to calmness.

A reminder to find peace in presence and harmony with nature.

Working in transparent glaze layers of pigment, Jane captures the changing rhythm of light and air. Her paintings echo the moods of the Australian landscape and sky – vast, alive and endlessly shifting – offering a moment to breathe, observe and feel connected to land and Self.

Jane Kerrigan grew up immersed in craft and design. Artistic expression has always been central to her life. After a career in construction and design, she returned to the path that had been calling her all along: painting. Jane's practice is intuitive and meditative.

Drawn by Quantum Theory, Jane portrays the energy embodied in each atom that creates colour, form and sound.  Her paintings connect to the essence of light and nature.

Working outdoors, Jane captures the spirit of the landscape and sky – then in the studio, carefully applies layers in a meditative way. The result is a work alive with atmosphere, energy and colour.

Jane paints in search of equanimity: Her work invites us to slow down and reconnect with our best Self.

Through her art, Jane celebrates Australia, its vastness, its light, and its fragile beauty.

She invites us to notice, nurture and care for the environment, following the example set by Indigenous Australians for thousands of years, ensuring it thrives for generations to come.
